a whole new dimension in fraternity, service and giving
as Freemasonry enters the Internet era."
My brethren, these are exciting
times as we prepare our Lodges and even our own lives
and families for the twenty-first century. We are
part of history. How will our generation be recorded?
Will we be remembered for our foresight and action?
Will men in the future, say "the year 2000 represented
a major change in the mind set of how the fraternity
was viewed by the general public and all men of good
report?" It is up to you and me. We can do it!
I have full confidence in your abilities to make our
beloved fraternity even better than it has been in
the past.
Though we have much in common as Masons, it is the
diversity within our brotherhood that is at the core
of our strength and ability to accomplish good works.
Today, Internet technology holds great promise to
harness diversity and enable us to achieve even more.
It is a perfect medium to edify Freemasons and interested
guests everywhere regarding any aspect of Masonic
life, history, and direction.
Conceived from ideas at the Masonic Leadership Institute,
Trestleboard.com is an innovative initiative that
merges fraternity and technology to better our brotherhood
and accelerate our philanthropic mission. The concept
is simple:
- to create an online forum where
information, discussion and related e-services are
available for virtually any Masonic purpose;
- to fund this effort through the
sale of quality accessories directly available through
this web site; and
- to donate proceeds generated after
operating costs to Masonic charities so that all
revenues remain within the Masonic community at-large.
I applaud and am excited about the
contribution Trestleboard.com is making. I look forward

want to accomplish is to spread light and knowledge,
what better way today than through an electronic forum.
Each of us in the Masonic family has expressed a desire
to receive more light and I am looking forward to
this new medium to help us accomplish that purpose.
The Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Massachusetts, through
it's degrees and publications of it's Chapter of Research,
