Effective date: March 31, 2026

TrestleBoard.com (“TrestleBoard,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a directory and calendar management platform for Chattanooga-area lodges and related bodies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices users have regarding their information.

1. Information we collect

We may collect and store the following information:

  • Account information, such as username, name, email address, and role.
  • Calendar connection information when a user authorizes Google Calendar access.
  • Lodge-related information entered into the site, including calendar IDs, calendar embeds, map embeds, and directory content.
  • Basic site settings and administrative configuration information.
  • Usage and security information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the site.

2. How we use information

We use information collected through TrestleBoard.com to:

  • Operate and maintain the website and its directory features.
  • Allow authorized users to manage lodge calendar events.
  • Display lodge, district, and event information to site visitors.
  • Authenticate users and manage permissions.
  • Improve security, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service reliability.

3. Google Calendar data

If you choose to connect your Google account, TrestleBoard.com requests access to Google Calendar data only for the purpose of allowing authorized users to create, edit, and delete calendar events associated with lodges they manage.

Google user data is used only to provide and support the calendar management features requested by the user. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated marketing purposes.

Depending on the permissions granted, we may store limited connection data such as:

  • OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the connection.
  • The Google email address associated with the connected account.
  • Calendar identifiers needed to perform requested calendar actions.

Google Calendar data is accessed only when necessary to perform user-requested calendar operations.

4. How Google user data is handled

Any Google user data obtained through Google APIs is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and is used only to provide or improve user-facing features related to calendar management.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not share Google user data with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to operate the service in a manner consistent with the user’s authorization.

5. Token storage and revocation

If a user connects Google Calendar, authorization tokens may be stored on our server so the site can continue to perform calendar actions on the user’s behalf.

Authorized users may disconnect their Google account from TrestleBoard.com at any time using the site’s disconnect feature. When a disconnect is requested, we attempt to revoke the token with Google and remove the stored token information from our system.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share private account or token information except:

  • When required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
  • When necessary to protect the security, integrity, or operation of the site.
  • When the user has expressly authorized an action requiring data exchange with Google services.

7. Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed for site operation, administrative purposes, security, and legitimate recordkeeping. Connected Google token data is removed when a user disconnects Google access, when the connection is no longer valid, or when we determine it should be deleted for security or operational reasons.

8. Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information stored by the site. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-party services

TrestleBoard.com may display or rely on third-party content or services, including Google Calendar, Google Maps, Google Analytics, and social media links. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
